universe mighty Alps-ibexes likes to isolate themselves as a loner. Buck-herds like loners join the combination-time in December and January to the Geißenrudeln, separates again after the Brunft, however.

The horns of the male Alps-ibexes are bent big, massive and saber-shaped to the back. The wide front-edge carries mighty cross-strips, the knot, that doesn't have anything to do with the age of the bucks, however, since several are formed per year.
