the Cornish Rex-Katzen originated from house-cats through natural mutation in Great Britain end of the sixties. they is not, however, relative with the Devon Rex. The two races have different "curl-genes."

Allen Rex-Katzen together is the curly, waved fur. The fur of the Cornish Rex is especially short and fine. It is all colors allow. The body is moderate-sized, slim and very athletic. The legs and the neck are long and slim. The tail is long, thin and runs pointed. it is densely busy with short hair. The head is oval, the far explained eyes are big and round. it has deeply rooted big bat-ears.

The Cornish Rex is a pure housing-cat, which it has gladly warmly. it is intelligent, active and very warmly when touching. it is very tender and has an enormous appetite.

The Cornish Rex-Katzen have a too thin fur. they need a warm surroundings, otherwise they freeze. These races have no more much to do with "natural" cats and actually should the animal for the sake of is not bred.
