the torso of the Glen of Imaal is rather long in relation terrier to the runs. it possesses powerful paws with round bale. Size: approximately 36 cm. Weight: 16 kg. Fur: middle-long / harsh deck-hair.

This dog was bred in the Glen of Imaal in the county Wicklow in Ireland and to the Schadtierbekämpfung, Z.B. Rats, started. The race was acknowledged in 1933.

The Glen of Imaal terriers is resolved and courageous. it is cat-equally quiet at the hunt and therefore can surprise its loot, overpowers. As family-dog, it needs a found out hand with the education.
