the Helmkasuar is the most known type of the Kasuare.
Shape Helmkasuare have a back-height of approximately 90 cm, the run is 30 cm long, the total-length amounts to approximately 1,50 m. The bone, sound-shaped "helmet" is conspicuous on the head of the black bird. The bare neck as well as the head are blue and decorate with two red, hanging skin-rags ("rocks"). At the rear-neck, a big, orange stain shines. With the different subtypes, however strong coloring-deviations ensue. The black beak is compressed powerful and lateral. Normal energy-feathers exist no more; the left six bare quills look like "skewers" sooner.
