the Irish Wolfhound is valid as the biggest dog of the world. it is a graceful dog with muscular physique despite its size. its long, easily bent rod is very powerful. Size: 71-90 cm. Weight: 40-55 kg. Fur: roughly and crinkly.

This race originated before already many centuries and belongs to the greyhound-races. The Celts put in the dogs to the wolf-hunt originally. The Irish Wolfhound was brought to Ireland by the Romans presumably.

The Irish Wolfhound possesses a mild and friendly temper and is watchful in its precinct. Puppies cannot be taken on long walks since its joints can take damage.
