welfare each visitor of aquariums is the colorful anemones or clown-fish of the type Amphiprion familiar. These coral-perches long until 12 cm go with Aktinien (sea-anemones) like Z. B. Disco-grandma and Stoichactis, an extremely astonishing life-community one. Many types are looked after in show-aquariums regularly.
Types Most anemone-fish look themselves quite similarly at the first gaze with its white cross-bandages on orange-red reason.
Amphiprion percula become quite frequent, until 8 cm, and Amphiprion bicinctus, until 14 cm, in public aquariums shown. Also the incandescence-carbonic-fish (Amphiprion ephippium, until 12 cm), who actually reminds of a glowing coal with a cooled place on each side with its dark stain, is very nicely.
Amphiprion akallopisus is not to be confused with the other types, until 7 cm, that are not cross-striped, but one single long vertical stripe in the back shows. Draw near relative, the velvet-coral-fish (Premnas biaculeatus, until 15 cm) is, who differs in the property of two thorns from Amphiprion under the eyes.
From observations in aquariums, one knows today that also many other fish (Z). B. Lippfishes (perches) to a "habituation" to sea-anemones, yes to a similar symbiosis like the type Amphiprion capable is, so that the name probably is "anemone-fish" to narrowly composed.
