this middle, and South American clamp-monkeys of the type Ateles gain the biggest gripping-radius of all clamp-tail-monkeys up to 92 cm of tail-length as well.

With a length up to 59 cm works such shapes especially strange because of this of overlong seeming gripping-tail.

Way of life Clamp-monkeys are almost only in the crowns of the trees, in which they move easily thanks to its master-like Schwing-Hangeltechnik.
