The active fur and skin colors are down put so sharp against each other and so grotesquely distributed, that one thinks, the monkey wears really sewn clothes, shoes and stockings.

With the named Art of Pygathrix nemaeus, the head is brown, and two orange-yellow strips lead to the mouth-corners from the ears like like with the Tonkinlangur. The neck carries a light-yellow one and a dark brown-black ring. Bodies and upper arms are dressed gray, and thighs, hands and feet are in black stockings as well as. Gloves and gumshoes. The forearms, the tail and a saddle-stain on the back shine in beautiful white while the lower legs stand out bay. This Clownerie in colors is apparently still increased by a big swimming-joyfulness of the clothes-monkey so that all color-nuances always seem immaculately clean.

Way of life We know hardly anything about the homestead-life of these beautiful monkeys. Infers from singles-observations leaves itself that the animals in groups from one or two adult males, several female and its offspring are alive.

Endangering Strong Bejagung and the long-prolonged war in Vietnam made that the clothes-monkey is threatened by the extinction.
