pale-brown with long, whitish beduntem neck; Alto-birds with white, gives birth and unausgefärbte birds with brownish neck-frill; Length approximately 1 m, wing-span until 2,50 m, weight by 8 kg; Occurrences south and Eastern Europe, North-Africa, Asia, to the south of until North-India; Rock-breeders; live exclusively from carrion; brood-bird still was in the Middle ages in Germany, Z. B. in the Danube-valley near Beuron (Baden-Württemberg); today with us no more occurring.
