the little ibex has a withers-height of approximately 55 cm and a weight by 14 kg. It resembles the old man-buck, however the color is uniformly shining reddish-brown. The head has a light eye-ring and big, wide ears. The males carry exactly, pointed horns. The head is pointed tapered, the tail-stub short.

Habitat Even tree and thornbush-savannas as well as dune-landscapes live in the little ibex. There are two separate occurrences in south and East-Africa.

Way of life The little ibex lives individually and seems precincts to form. During the combination-time, the bucks look for the females. Ibex little actively is during the day, however they rest during the most severe heat. The hunt for it is the most successful in the morning and twilight. Run ibex little fast with highly raised head. they hide masterfully and should visit even aardvark-holes as shelter. The Tragzeit amounts to approximately 210 days.

Food Live the little ibex from grass, foliage, roots and tubers. they are not dependent on water.
