Spread The European oyster-fisher (Haematopus ostralegus) lives in the northern Meeresküsten in Europe as far as to the northern polar circle up, furthermore the entire Atlantic-coast and the Mediterranean-area. Way of life Outside the Nistzeit, the oyster-fishers join together to swarms of several thousand animals.
