the Java-niches Bengalkatze very similar is dun rust-cat the oberseits. Reddish-brown vertical stripes run from the head up to the neck across the fur, that dissolves in point at the torso. They become smaller and paler to the tail for stains. The rust-cat is very small and dainty and is one of the smallest cats at all.

The rust-cat lives in dry grassland and dry-bush in India's most outer south and on Sri Lanka (Ceylon) and hunts small mammals and birds mainly at night. it takes presumably also insects and reptiles beside it. Through certain Kratzbäume, it should mark its precinct.
