the Pangasius sutchi lives in them all water-regions of your aquarium. The aquarium should be held very spacious for these fish. Males like females can gain a length of up to 1 m.
The young fish join to swarms - you therefore never hold individual copies. they are in all water-layers in continuous movement. If the fish startle, they push in a panic in the surroundings at the objects and sink slowly to the reason where they stay a while. Since the fish at the water level breathe air, one assumes that they are equipped with an addition-respiration, whose function was however obviously not examined yet and was published. Since they have small eyes, its other Sinnesorgane including the Barteln are very well developed; they react to the feed from big distance.
Attitude: Optimal-proof prevail water-temperatures of 22 to 28 °C in the aquarium. The pH-area should lie between 6.5 and 7.5. The fish don't thrive in too soft water! Therefore, a dGH of 10 degrees is commendable.
Differentiation of the sexes: Nothing known is over reproduction and Sexualdimorphismus.
