the tube-bunting (Emberiza schoeniclus) is named also tube-sparrow. it lives in swampy terrain during the incubation and lives mainly from insects. The nests are positioned between reed-stems. After the brood-period, the birds roam far.

Tube-buntings let themselves observe usually easily since they don't show any especially big fear. The sexes are not to be distinguished externally, only at the chant of the male, that is to be heard also in the winter.
